Ted VanCleave is a Los Angeles-based photographer who has received numerous honors and distinctions. His iconic, deftly colorized closeups of the Hollywood Sign use extreme angles, textural detail, and creative composition to achieve a powerful effect.
His work was selected by Laura Rosenstock, Curator of the Museum of Modern Art of New York, to appear in the Faber Birren Color Award Show. He was also awarded Top National Honors from the prestigious National Watercolor Society.
