The View from Hollywood & Highland

The intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and North Highland Avenue, in the center of Hollywood, sits in a bustling walking area filled with many must-see attractions.

On the northwest corner of Hollywood and Highland, you’ll find the Hollywood & Highland Center, home of world-class restaurants, shops and, most famously, the Dolby Theater (home of the Academy Awards). The Center’s designers made it a point to feature the distant Hollywood Sign as the centerpiece of their architectural composition. The result is that Sign ‘photo opps’ abound throughout the facility.

While you are in the neighborhood, stroll down Hollywood Boulevard along the renowned Walk of Fame to Grauman’s Chinese Theater, the Hollywood Museum, the restored El Capitan Theater and more. You’ll see colorful street performers, costumed movie characters, and any number of fun souvenir shops.

GETTING THERE
The Hollywood & Highland Center (as you probably surmised) is located on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue in central Hollywood. See below for a detailed map and driving directions from Google.

You can also reach Hollywood & Highland via the Metro Rail Red Line.

PARKING TIPS
There is a large public parking facility under the Center on Highland, just north of Hollywood Blvd on the west side of the street. This 3,000 space garage is located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028.

Meter parking can be found throughout the neighborhood, but be sure to read signs carefully and keep your meter full as parking enforcement is extremely rigorous.
